Unsettled in south with showers, drier brighter in north.

Over central and southern Ireland, south Wales and southern England expect generally cloudy skies with frequent heavy and possibly thundery showers or longer spells of rain. Elsewhere it will be generally dry with sunny spells the best of these over Scotland. Maximum temperatures at 14-16C in north but up to 16-18C in south.

Over the southwest expect cloudy skies along with showers, these possibly heavy and thundery. Elsewhere the evening and night will be mostly dry with a few showers over the east coast. Minimum temperatures at 8C in north and 10C in south.
